Bio

Vincent J.-Painchaud is the main advisor of the International and Canadian Intergovernmental Relations for the Ministère de la Cybersécurité et du Numérique of Québec.

Since taking up this position, his work focuses on establishing Canadian intergovernmental and International collaboration on Digital Identity. He is also working on strengthening cybersecurity collaborations to improve the capacity of the Government to respond to new cyber threats.

Previously, from 2016 to 2022, he was an Open Government senior advisor. His work focused on the Open Data Portal Données Québec, the public participation portal Consultation Québec and Québec's membership to the Open Government Partnership.

Vincent J.-Painchaud graduated from Université Laval in 2017 with a master's degree in Public Affairs. Vincent and his wife Wiem live in Québec City with their child Léo-Paul.
